Insurance Conditions
Volcanic Rent a Car rates include:
- Tax included (IGIC).
- Compulsory automobile insurance and supplementary civil liability insurance for damages against third parties arising from the use and circulation of the vehicle.
- PAI (Personal Injury)
- CDW (Collision Damage).
- PT (car theft).
The minimum age for the driver is 23 years.
Only the people listed on the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.
The driving license must be valid to drive in Europe, and must be old minimum of 2 years.
The vehicles cannot be driven outside the Island where they have been rented.
Volcanic Rent a Car rates do not include fuel. The customer must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel with which it was delivered.
Are excluded from the insurance guarantee:
- Broken or lost vehicle key.
- Fines.
- Repair and damage due to wrong refueling.
- Accidents related to reckless driving.
- Claims under the influence of alcoholic beverages or other drugs.
- Personal belongings stolen, lost or left in the car.
It is expressly prohibited:
- Push or tow any other vehicle.
- Drive on unpaved roads.
- Assign, lend, sublease the vehicle.
- Transport luggage, objects or any other item on the roof of the vehicle.
- Reckless driving.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol, medication or drugs.
Supplements Rate
- BB chair / Elevator: No supplement.
- Additional driver: No supplement.
- PS- 5 € / day. GPS / Deposit: €70
- Airport: €15, (Hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.).
